“Development of  non-governmental sector and local government” – is the name of EU programme and euro 1 120 000 is the grant amount released in the frames of this programme.

Among the other projects provided by the programme there are also other projects, which pay attention to the development of non-governmental sector and local government and their cooperation

Listeners had opportunity to get to know with two projects like this.

In the transmission also took part, Helga Pender, EU delegation to Georgia, Project manager of civil society development and democracy, who talked about meaning and aims of the  programme “development of non-governmental sector and local government”

The invited guests talked about what opportunities does Georgian self-government has today and how they imagine its iprovement, is the society informed about local government functions, what problems they had to solve on the way of implementation, in what the collaboration is expresed specificly between local government and non-governmental sector?
