Subject of migration and migrants is one of the priority issue in Georgia at present. Accordingly, the invited guests talked about what does the program, which is implemented by financial support of EU – “Migration for Development” represent, what are its goals, what projects are implemented in the frames of this program, how it enforces connection between migration and development, or how the ,

In the transmission the memorandum formalized between  Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation and Danish refugee council was discussed by Maka Esaiashvili. Danish refugee council works with Georgian government since 2007 for working out migration strategy and work plan

Diana Jgenti has talked about how will these project reflect on concrete persons and what is done for them.

About ongoing projects in the frames of the program “Migration for development” its coordinators have discussed. All four organizations have one main goal – to help migrants, but they try to reach their objectives in different ways. They will help their beneficiaries, local enterpreneurs to contact the businessman gone from Georgia to share their experience. It is foreseen to hold trainings for project beneficiaries.
