Alternative sources of energy

Invited guests spoke about the meaning of alternative sources of energy and energy- effectiveness. Why the mastering of renewable sources of energy is important. What experience do EU countries have in this field. The guests also spoke about those projects, which EU implements in high mountain regions for developing renewable energy.

As the invited guests mentioned, Georgia has rich energetic resources, but unfortunately, it is not effectively used and the use of renewable resources of energy is not supported in Georgia.

In the rubric “Consideration of expert”, audience had opportunity to listen to the director of “Centre of energy-effectiveness of Georgia”, Giorgi Abulashvili, who explained, what sources of renewable energy exist in Georgia and what are the perspectives of developing this field.
