The purpose of the EU project “Support of Tax Administration Reform” is assistance aimed at reforming according to European standards and providing more information to taxpayers. The Sociological research center “Gorbi” conducted a special research within the framework of the project, in order to find out how well society is informed about the tax administration service. Trust has increased among tax-service employees and tax-payers.
Economic experts in studio discussed how suitable the existing tax system is for economic development. They mentioned that tax rates today are liberal but significant problems still remain in the administrative part.
