The main issues highlighted during the broadcast were: the 20th anniversary of the Convention on Children’s Rights, Children’s rights in Georgia, Children’s Prosperity Reform in Georgia, and programs for internally displaced children.
Guests talked about the importance of the Convention on Children’s rights, ratified by 193 countries. Georgia joined  in 1994.

Guests  mentioned that serious progress has been achieved during the recent years in Georgia. 4000 children have been returned to their own/ recipient families from state-care institutions, a reduction tendency has been identified in the mortality of children and mother’s, underage justice reform is being implemented.

The expert in children’s right protection talked about problems that children residing in conflict zone have been facing and EU-supported programmes being implemented for internally displaced children.
