Reform in Healthcare System

Koka Pruidze, Deputy Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia and  Simon Gabrichidze, Project manager of NGO Welfare Foundation were invited to the studio. The reform in the healthcare system and the experience of EU states in this field was the main topic of the broadcast. The program guests made detailed analyses of the current situation in the health system in Georgia and discussed the ongoing reform – achievements and drawbacks or risks accompanying the process.  Hospital programs and perspectives of insurance system development as well as the EU support to Georgia in this regard were from among the issues discussed.  

Expert consideration was conducted by Vakhtang Surguladze, Head of Health and Social Programs and George Bolton, Expert in healthcare issues, the European Commission.
