Tengiz Kalandadze, Head of National Service Food Safety and Quality Supervising Division, Ministry of Agriculture and Shalva Melkadze, Programs Coordinator, Union 21th Century were invited to the studio. Food safety and setting Euro standard corresponding regulations in Georgia was the main topic of the broadcast. The program guests paid attention to the consumers’ rights and as well as existing problems and challenges  related to the issue. The representative of Ministry of Agriculture talked about the new strategies the Ministry starts to apply in this direction as well as the role of EU and its assistance in the process. In addition the discussion referred to the risk related to the economical development in case of setting strict regulations. Foreign experts explained the importance of strict regulations in Georgia and talked about existing experience and practice in EU.

Expert consideration was conducted by Michel Jambu of the European Commission in Georgia and David Narmania, Expert in Economic Science.
