The Eastern Partnership

Two guests such as Kakha Gogolashvili, Director of Georgian-European Policy and Legal Advice Centre (GEPLAC) and David Darchiashvili, Chairman of the European Integration Committee were to take part in the discussion but the latter was unable to come to the studio therefore the discussion was held between Kakha Gogolashvil and the program anchor. The main topic of the broadcast was the new stages of cooperation between EU and Georgia – Eastern Partnership signed in Prague Summit on 7 May. The guest in the studio Kakha Gogolashvili had given detailed information over the issue, what the Eastern Partnership means and what changes will be made in Georgia according to this project to get closer to the European Union. The expert had analyzed Eastern Partnership via Global Political context and in relation to Russia. He marked that it is an important step concerning Georgian security, economy and democratic development. Granting interviews in Brussels the European Union representatives and  leading experts had given the same explanation of the main point of the  European Partnership and about the possible results of what the participation in this program gives to Georgia and the region.
