Guests: Michal Nekvasil, second secretary, Deputy head of Project Department, Representation of European Commission, Lia Todua, Coordinator  of Environmental protection program, Georgian Strategy Researches and Development Centre and Alverd Chanqseliani, Head of Waste and Chemical substance management  division, Ministry of Environmental and Natural Resource Protection were the invited guests to the studio.

Topics: ENP action plan  and environmental protection issues, implemented and ongoing environmental projects in Georgia supported by the EU, waste management, harmonisation of legislation, Georgian reality and European environmental standards

Michal Nekvasil second secretary of the Delegation of  the European Commission talked about projects being implemented in Georgia with the EU support in the environmental field, why  waste management is an important issue and what danger the wrong management of waste creates for the environment.

During the broadcast it was underlined that the elaboration of the law and a general strategy plan of waste management is necessary in Georgia.

The review of European standards was conducted by Nino Tkhilava, Head of Environmental Policy and International Relations Department, Ministry of Environmental and Natural Resource Protection.
